IN-HOUSE, PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION LAWYER

Our client, a multinational with a worldwide network, has instructed us, on an exclusive basis, to recruit a mid-level (2-5 years) Privacy & Data Protection lawyer for their Brussels office. The successful candidate will have expertise in all (or some) of the following; interactive marketing technologies; industry practices for collection and usage of personal data within the EU; the European Data Protection Directive. Excellent English is a must, additional EU languages appreciated. You will be expected to ensure compliance with relevant domestic and pan-European privacy & data protection laws, to develop new strategies addressing privacy & data protection issues for new products,to manage ongoing processes, and to evaluate customer marketing material. We are seeking a motivated team player who is also a self-starter. Experience can have been acquired as an in-house counsel;with a data protection/privacy team in a law firm; or from a public institution.
